Delegation from Kingdom of Belgium visited our university

On May 26 2025, Julie Van der Linden, First Secretary for Economic Affairs and Olivier Douheret Ph.D.,Counsellor for Wallonia Export-investment Agency at Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Tokyo along with 31 members of the researchers and faculty members of the Wallonia Region Government of Belgium visited our Toyosu campus.

After a welcome speech by our President Yamada, introducing the outlines of our university and our international initiatives, we engaged in active discussions on future collaboration, focusing on Professor Midori Sugaya's research on Society 5.0, particularly on digital health.

The University of Louvain (UCLouvain) and the University College, Léonard de Vinci (HE Vinci) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote joint research.

This visit serves as a valuable opportunity to further strengthen ties with the above two Universities and other Walloon regional government universities.
